Collating online academic papers

Having fun with online academic papers have found a couple of papers today which pre date on line services. Will be interesting to see how most effectively to get hold of them useful learning exercise.

Also stumbled accross a great tool http://www.citeulike.org/

Here you can automate the collection of citation information from journals you find in online searches, annotate them with meta tags and even store a copy in your own library.

Fantastic opportunity to build on a resouce which adds to the blogging and online communities.

Assessment in CAL

Working my way into this subject currently. Making some random notes to come back to.

Looking at the impact on my cal of such issues as framing multiple choice questions, ref to the difficulites of setting appropriate questions,

Writing the questions for my cal is going to need careful though to get it right. My first attempts at work trying to support a not teaching collegue writing mpc’s already fallen foul of many of the helpful guidelines.
